The Challenge
Murdoch had no prior website, so the build started from scratch. Their strong social media presence wasn’t reflected anywhere online, and the goal was to give them a site that felt modern, reliable, and approachable.
Incorporating their pink brand colour was key to keeping consistency, but it needed to be balanced to avoid overwhelming the user. The lack of high-quality visuals made storytelling difficult, so AI-generated imagery was used to fill visual gaps without compromising professionalism.
The Solution
The design leaned into clarity and usability. The pink brand colour was used selectively to highlight CTAs and key interactions—ensuring brand recognition without distraction. Layouts were kept clean and direct, making information easy to find for users across all devices.
To support Murdoch’s emergency call-out services, a persistent marquee banner with a clear emergency contact number was added—especially useful during storms or urgent repairs.
Pages were structured with quick-scan sections for key services, supported by performance optimisation and SEO-friendly content. Special care was taken to ensure the mobile experience was smooth, fast, and easy to use for clients on the go.
Outcome
The final website gave Murdoch Roofing a digital home that felt consistent with their brand tone—friendly, responsive, and practical.
Clients could now easily browse services, find contact information quickly, and access emergency help with one tap on mobile. The client was especially happy with how balanced the design felt: professional, easy to navigate, and visually consistent with their existing brand identity.
